Volunteers wanted in Stotfold
We are calling for volunteers living in Stotfold
To improve access to our services we are working with Stotfold Town Council to recruit more local volunteers to join our information satellite held in the Town Council Offices on Thursday mornings.
It takes several months to train to become an assessor but the service provides free formal accredited ACFA-Cashflow training with all expenses paid. Our volunteers help people with a wide range of problems including debt, benefits, housing, employment and family matters.
The first five weeks of training for the role takes place at the Ampthill office and so candidates must be able to get to Ampthill and be willing to train for a minimum of five hours per week. All sorts of people volunteer for the Citizens Advice, but one thing that unites them all is that they find it challenging, rewarding and varied – and you never stop learning.
