Friends of Mid Bedfordshire CAB

We are planning a range of fund raising activities this year in order to raise £10,000 which will be used to maintain our current level of service in these difficult times. See our Fundraising page for further details.

In addition to the fund raising activities we have set up a ‘Friends of Mid Bedfordshire Citizens Advice Bureau’. We hope that as many people as possible will subscribe a minimum of £10 per annum to become a ‘Friend’ . The subscription will help towards the fund raising target. ‘Friends’ will receive a regular news e mail and have the opportunity to become involved with the fundraising activities themselves. The organisation also aims to raise the profile of the CAB and to publicise the valuable work that it does in the local community. Many people think that we are a national organisation and that we are funded by central government; although this is not the case.

Our leaflet is attached . You will see that there are a number of ways to subscribe. In addition to the traditional methods of cheque and standing orders , we now have our own page on the Virgin Money Giving Website and donations can be made using this route. Go to www.virginmoneygiving.com and search for Mid Bedfordshire Citizens Advice Bureau. We plan to use this site for all our fundraising activities and put photos etc on there. The Friends leaflet is already on there and we also plan to put it on our own web site.
